Software – graphics and functionality

Bodog has basic and functional graphics. Each player can upload their own avatar. The hand history option is detailed and easy to follow. A nice feature is the possibility to see your cards even if you already have folded. But the best feature is the multi table view. You can see up to three tables simultaneously, without having to click between them. Bodog’s multi table view is clear and easy to use and better than similar features I have used at other poker rooms.

Ring game and tournament traffic

Bodog is an independent poker room and not part of any network. It started out as a sport book and an online casino. For an independent poker room the traffic is surprisingly high. There are around 2,200 cash game players during the peak hours and up to 5,200 tournament players.

Game variety and competition

Bodog offers Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo and 7-Card-Stud. The limits range from $0.05/$0.10 to $20/$40. Starting out as an online casino and a sports book Bodog Poker attracts a lot of players with limited poker experience. This makes the games loose and profitable for solid players.

Rakes and tournament fees

The rake at Bodog is about average. They rake a maximum of 5% and $3. Bodog doesn’t rake hands where the flop isn’t seen.

Loyalty bonus and promotions

Bodog have a lot of good promotions. They offer several money added and money guaranteed tournaments. Check out the weekly $100,000 guaranteed tournament.

Support and financial security

The support is available 24/7. Bodog have live online and telephone support as well as email support. Bodog Poker is a well established site that is very safe to play at.
